More than 25 years ago, former actress and model, Jennifer Girard, began a small photography studio in her Chicago Apartment. She started by building a dark room in her basement and learning how to develop and print photographs. Today, what began with head shots of aspiring local actors and actresses has become a renowned professional photography studio.

Creating stunning pictures working from her unique Lakeview area Chicago studio, she is well known for her pictures of the rich, famous, and theatrical. Her photos are self described as going “right to the source” and display the subject with dramatic light-and-dark contrasts. From personal portraits, to weddings, she captures beautiful photographs in a variety of surroundings that enhance the qualities of her subjects.
